The earthquake that the COVID pandemic in India and globally has left on all of us has been one that will go down in the history books, not just how it has changed our outlook towards sanitation but also education. Online or digital education has disrupted the current paradigm of education.
While e-Learning has become somewhat routine for many children in urban areas, it is still not the same for underprivileged children and teachers. Combination of a lot of things like lack of know-how of technology, no access to the internet, but worst of all – no access to technology itself.
But this doesn’t mean that our students and teachers don’t get the education that they deserve during the time of COVID. With the onset of the second wave of COVID-19 and possibly the third wave, we have made sure that we are well-prepared from all ends in providing our children with the most resources in the best way possible.
To bridge the gap between underprivileged children, staff, and education via technology, we at Gyanoday NGO decided to equip our teachers with 16 smartphones, 1 laptop and 1 desktop. Increasing the strength of students attending school online to 747, Gyanoday is committed to ensuring that no stone is left unturned in providing the best and quality-standard education to our students.
