Through this model, the ‘school goes to children’ rather than ‘children going to the school’.
The focus is to provide learning through a recreational methodology, imparting skills such as: Reading and Writing, Arithmetic, Sports, Music and Theatre.
Gyanoday engages children in co-curricular activities as well to showcase their talent and also organises programmes on personal grooming, health, hygiene and environmental consciousness.
We provide basic reading and writing skills to underprivileged children deprived of literacy.
We also provide basic numeracy skills to these children, in order to improve their learning abilities.
We encourage the children to play sports to support their physical health and well-being.
We also engage these children in various activities such as dance, music, street plays and theatre.
Our curriculum is based on the 4-H Model whereby, the aim is holistic development of children, youth, drop-outs and targeted beneficiaries.
